Women's Wellness Deserves Thoughtful and Individualized Care

By dedicating her practice to gynecology, Dr. Malley is able to focus on patient consultations in a tailored, relaxed setting.  She practices a uniquely individualized approach that includes comprehensive preventative care, education, and communication.

Dr. Malley takes a minimally invasive approach to medical care, avoiding surgery where observation or less-invasive approaches yield the same outcome. For circumstances that do require surgery, Dr. Malley will partner with a trusted colleague with a more surgically-inclined practice who performs a high volume of surgeries, yielding the best possible outcome for her patient.

Preventative Care and Management of Women at High Risk for Breast and other Cancers

We offer a comprehensive program to screen all patients for the risk level of breast, ovarian and colon cancer. Patients are screened in the office as part of their annual exam.  At-risk patients will be offered genetic testing. Patients identified as high risk, either familial or genetic, will be followed according to a high risk protocol, as well as the most current nutrition and lifestyle risk reduction strategies.

Since only 5-10% of breast cancers are hereditary, more than 80% of women who develop breast cancer have little to no family history.  As a way to identify the high-risk patient without family history, we are integrating in our practice a validated breast cancer predictive test.  By integrating clinical and genetic factors we hope to identify the "other group" (BRCA-gene negative patients) at high risk.

Each woman deserves to understand her individual risk so that we may develop your personalized breast health surveillance program, whether that be annual mammograms alone, or mammogram plus breast sonogram and breast MRI done annually, but at 6-month intervals.

Menopause Management

Dr. Malley is active in both the North American Society of Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology as well the The North American Menopause Society, balancing the reproductive, hormonal and health needs of each end of the spectrum, and everyone in between.
